Hello one and all! (at long last)
I'm really happy to be finally posting my first blog!
As a brief introduction for those who have not previously met me at a campus session or on the open day at mdx, I am a Performing Arts Technician in a secondary school in Walthamstow in East London. I also dabble on occasion with writing my own material but am still mustering up the courage to follow up on this and workshop material. My overall intention is to qualify as a Drama teacher for secondary education and eventually head down a pastoral route within a school and become a Head of Year.
I will be blogging in far more detail from tomorrow as a means of helping me reflect on my initial sessions within a local primary school running a drama club for students in years 5 & 6
